Parent educator / author
Richard O’Keef is a seasoned parenting educator and author. He has studied child behavior for decades and is currently teaching incarcerated men in the state prison and county jails how to break abusive cycles and become good dads. He has discovered why children go down dark paths leading to addiction and crime, and looks for any opportunity to show parents how to prevent that from happening. He enjoys teaching how parents can help their children thrive, while at the same time, reduce their struggling and enjoy the parenting journey. O’Keef has six children and 23 grandchildren. He just published a book called, “911, What is Your Parenting Emergency?” where he teaches the 4 Emotional Needs and the 15 parenting skills necessary to meet those needs.
